Tender description
46 Grand Parade was purchased by CIT in 2015. The intended use is to accommodate a number of courses run by the Crawford College of Art and Design. These courses are currently accommodated in the former Tax office in Sullivan’s Quay. CIT have recently vacated the space they were leasing in Sullivan’s Quay. 46 Grand Parade is a 4 storey building (c. 1200sqm), it is also a Protected Structure. A platform lift has been installed in the building, however this will not be available for bringing furniture up to the upper floors due to weight restrictions in the lift. Furniture contractor to make provision to take furniture to upper floors via the main stair case. The Main contractor for 46 Grand Parade is Summerhill Construction Ltd. Summerhill will be on site when the furniture in this project will be installed. Installation of the furniture is to be complete by 1st September 2017. Liaison for all aspects of the project during tender stage shall be directed via Susan Brennan, Brennan Architects who acts as Embedded Architect to CIT. Susan has the role of Architect, ER (Employers Representative) and Client Liaison for this project.
