ITIL Tenders and Contracts

Central government departments, NHS trusts, councils, universities, police and fire services, and housing associations all run ITIL and ITSM contracts in the corpus, most often for a service desk or ITSM platform replacement, an ITIL-aligned managed service, or staff certification training.

The most common codes in the corpus are 48000000 (Software package and information systems), 72222300 (Information technology services), 72000000 (IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support) and 72600000 (Computer support and consultancy services). Buyers often combine two or three of these on a single notice.

Platform-wide, 2,146 tenders are open on Stotles right now, ITIL and ITSM contracts included. Many of the larger ITSM deals run through cross-government frameworks such as G-Cloud rather than as standalone tenders, and Stotles' 2026 Supplier Survey found 44% of suppliers now use frameworks as their main route to public sector work.

ITSM platform and service desk contracts in the corpus mostly run as multi-year call-offs, three to five years being typical, taken from frameworks such as RM6098. ITIL certification and Foundation training courses are much shorter, usually a single delivery of a few days rather than an ongoing contract.
