The Council sought a contractor to develop new build housing at Laburnum Road, Viewpark that is an established residential area close to commercial areas and brownfield in nature and but currently an unused open space. Lot 1: North Lanarkshire Council (the Council) has a requirement to deliver the new build social housing programme and has an approved programme to deliver 5000 new council homes for rent by 2035 over the 5-year period 2021 – 2026 which remains at the same level as set in the previous LHS which was developed in partnership with the people and communities of North Lanarkshire, our registered social landlords, other council services, elected members, statutory bodies and other key partners.
