Tender description

This tender is for the Provision of Coach Transport (with driver) to the University of Worcester. The contract will initially be for a period of two years with an option to extend for two further twelve month periods subject to the successful suppliers’ satisfactory performance. The contract will be open for use by all the University’s academic schools and departments, as well as all University subsidiary companies, and Worcester Student’s Union. Lot 1: General Coach Hire University of Worcester is looking to establish a framework agreement to provide general coach hire services to the University. These requirements will be ad hoc in nature and are likely to cover all sizes of minibus and coaches and will be required for local, national and international travel. The University is looking to appoint up to four suppliers to this framework. As part of this LOT the University of Worcester is also seeking a supplier who can provide an executive coach hire service, which may be required for high profile events and for use by the University Executive team, should executive travel be required. Lot 2: Wheelchair Accessible Coaches University of Worcester is looking to establish a framework agreement for the provision of wheelchair accessible vehicles for the University’s ad hoc requirements. The University is looking to appoint three suppliers to this framework. Lot 3: Student Placement Requirements University of Worcester is looking to appoint 1 supplier to provide a transport service for students attending placements to travel between the University of Worcester St Johns Campus and three hospitals detailed later within the specification.
