Tender description
This tender refers to a contract for the design, supply, delivery, and installation of library shelving, furniture, and related items to the optimum standard, as befits a high quality, modern library. Macroom Library will initially be open 40 hours per week and will have 5 staff members operating on a mixture of full and part-time work patterns. Library opening hours will be extended by the end of 2024 to facilitate 8am to 10pm, 365 days per year self-service access for library users with My Open Library membership. We are asking for the submission of proposals for the design, supply, delivery and installation of: • Adult Library area shelving. • Adult library ICT area desks and chairs. • Adult library area easy seating/newspaper display. • Adult library area study desks and chairs. • Adult library additional items. • Circulation desk area, and desk store with seating and shelving. • Large item storage solution behind desk to store delivery boxes. • Children’s library area shelving. • Children’s library area tables and chairs. • Children’s library area reading zone with storage and seating options. • Children's library area additional items. • Stacking chairs on trolleys with wheels for easy storage and movement. • Staff canteen table and chairs. • Staff office table, chairs, storage, and other items.
