Maintain Functionality of Existing Chiptech Telecare Equipment

Supply and maintenance of existing telecare equipment. Chiptech is the original equipment manufacturer of the telecare equipment currently installed and that this equipment is proprietary, meaning only Chiptech can provide the necessary maintenance and replacement parts Lot 1: Chiptech are a specialist supplier of assistive technology, particularly specialising in equipment for complex needs. The equipment included an alarm, pendant, additional peripherals, and SIM's also known as 'airtime' costs. North Hertfordshire Council (NHC) intends to contract with the sole supplier to maintain their proprietary equipment. Chiptech is the original equipment manufacturer of the telecare equipment currently installed and that this equipment is proprietary, meaning only Chiptech can provide the necessary maintenance and replacement parts. This agreement would cover the maintenance of telecare equipment already installed into users' homes, including the provision of replacement parts, batteries, peripherals and associated airtime costs for installed SIM cards.
