Tender description
MIC Library require design of layout, Supply, Delivery, Assembly, and Installation of Library Desks. Most desks should be bench-style desks catering for individual student study space. The desks will vary depending on the desk placement area, but it is provisionally calculated that students should have at least 700mm-by-700mm space per surface area, with some desks ranging to 800mm-by-800mm. The bench style desks should have discreet options for housing power cables plus have power for standard plugs and USB fast charging. The desks will need screens to divide the individual study areas of approximately 20-30cm in height. A small number of desks should be round and suitable for group study, seating 4-6 people per desk. Desks should come in a choice of wooden veneers. These measurements are indicated as a guide and variances and/or equivalents are acceptable to these measurements/styles. We would also like to include options for two study booths for group study. The booths will seat 4 people and will have socket and USB power options.
