Marl Drive and Pentywyn Road NMU

Tender description

The scheme involves the creation of new multi user paths in the town of Llandudno Junction. The scheme is divided into two specific areas, namely Pentywyn Road and Marl Drive/A470. The works at Pentywyn Road involve widening of the existing pavement to create a new multi user path for non-motorised users and will link two other NMU’s at each end of the widened pavement. There two links to adjacent roads, a new entrance to a playground and a signalised pedestrian crossing. The work at Marl Drive/A470 also involve the creation of new multi user paths but will include the introduction of two signalised crossings over the A470 and a link southwards along the main road towards Narrow Lane and associated link paths. To create the new paths, existing verges and pavements will be resurfaced and widened. For further information see the attached drawings and documents.
