BCU-ITT-51041 - YGC Linear Accelerator Replacement

Tender description

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust and on behalf of Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board require a contractor for the enabling works for the supply and installation of a new Linear Accelerator in Bunker C in Glan Clwyd Hospital. The works will include a full strip out and refurbishment of the Linac bunker and control desk and the provision of associated mechanical and electrical elements to serve the area and facilitate the specialist installation of the new machine. Project Location Glan Clwyd Hospital, Rhuddlan Rd, Bodelwyddan, Rhyl, LL18 5UJ. Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board recognises the importance of the Welsh language to the communities it serves. Consequently, responses to an invitation to quote or tender will be accepted in Welsh as well as English. However, please note that tender responses submitted only in Welsh will be translated by the Trust into English before consideration. Those involved in translating the document will be barred from taking decisions on awarding tenders. The tender will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender based on 35% quality and 65% cost as detailed in the ITT document.
