Tender description

The works comprise of the replacement of circa 994 metres of existing uPVC Class B distribution main at 3 locations in, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan with a 160mm OD 16 bar SDR 11 polyethylene pipe. The locations are ‘Section A Drumgoosat / Clonsedy (62 metres), Section B Drumgoosat (450 metres) and Section C Tullylougherny (482 metres). There are also 16 No. Sluice Valves, 13 No. Air Valves, 8 No. Fire Hydrants, 12 No. Scour Valves existing and 2 No. bulk meters that will be removed and replaced. Lot 95905: Magheracloone GWS, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan Distribution Main and Valve Replacement Contract 2015 Contractors are invited to tender for the construction of the above contract. The completed Form of Tender and Schedule (Volume B), Pricing Document (Volume C) and Safety and Health Questionnaire should be returned in an envelope marked ‘Magheracloone Distribution Main and Valve Replacement Contract 2015’ to the Rural Water Liaison Officer, Monaghan County Council, M-Tec II Building, Armagh Road, Monaghan Town, Co. Monaghan no later than 12.00 noon on Friday 14th August 2015
