Tender description

WIT are seeking Expressions of Interest from suitable qualifying contractors to be placed on the proposed multi-supplier framework for small building works and to tender for the small building works term contract. The small building works framework will fulfil the requirements of the contracting authority for building contracts up to the value of €500,000.00 as they arise throughout the term of the framework. In conjunction with the small building works framework the contracting authority intend to appoint a term contractor for small building works and projects which individually are not envisaged to be greater in value than €20,000.00. The term contract works will be ad-hoc / maintenance / refurbishment type projects. They will also include emergency type projects and require a response time of 1 hour. The duration of the framework and term contract will be 2 years with an option to extend by 1 additional year. The works may take place in any of the WIT properties in Waterford City and County namely: Cork Road Campus, West Campus Carriganore, College Street Campus, IDA Industrial Estate and other small properties within Waterford City. This is a 2 stage restricted process, this being stage 1 of the process, wherein applicants will be pre-qualified on the basis of the information submitted in response to this notice, before progressing to stage 2 of the process. Stage 2 of the process will involve the issue of tender documents to all qualifying contractors for the small building works framework and small building works term contract. Position on the small building works framework and award of the small building works term contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender. Contract Award: 1. Term Contractor: - Kenlis Construction Ltd.
