Tender description

The works shall consist of the following scope of works • The provision of a new Modular Office Building at Aras an Chonate with a minimum 30 year design life in accordance with this specification and drawings. • The manufacturer shall provide BCAR Certification for the Modular Building. • The Modular building shall be a minimum of a Near Zero Energy Building in accordance with current Building Regulations. The building fabric shall be designed and constructed with U-Values for walls, roofs and floors of less than 0.15 W/m2K, installed windows of 0.85 W/m2K, airtightness of 0.6 ACH or better when tested at 50 pascals and with thermal bridge free design. • The manufacturer will be required to provide all design calculations and documentation to demonstrate compliance with the Building Regulations and Technical Guidance Documents (Parts A to M) for the Modular Building.
