Morrison's Island Public Realm and Flood Defence Project - Specialist Grouting Contractor (Reserved Specialist)

Tender description

The project involves the creation of a high quality public realm space along the City Quays along the River Lee South Channel between Parnell Bridge and Parliament Bridge. A major part of this project involves the remediation of existing historic quay walls at Fr Mathew Quay, Morrison's Quay and part of Union Quay. The reserved specialist works involves permeation grouting of approximately 535m of existing historic masonry quay walls (including foundation soil zones) including ancillary works such as drilling of quay walls, in a tidal urban environment. The reserved specialist will work in conjunction with the Contractor, who will undertake related works including quay wall cleaning and repointing, construction of a concrete backing wall and any required temporary works.
