Construction works relating to Phase 2 Extension to Shannon Airport Fire Station & Kitchen Refurbishment

Tender description

The scope of works involves the refurbishment of the existing kitchen and canteen area and expansion of the fire tender parking bays. In general the works relate to the following key areas: • Demolition works involving removal of the existing cladding, concrete beam, concrete column and access doors to Bay 1 & Bays 5-8 of the fire station • Construction of a new steel structure to match the previous expansion with new insulated metal panel as the building fabric and new fire tender access doors • Strip-out of selected existing finishes to the kitchen and canteen area • Replacement of old aluminium glazing • Selected Internal Refurbishment / Decoration including kitchen fit-out, new floor finishes and suspended ceiling to the kitchen area • Upgrade of Mechanical and Electrical Installations
