Re-Roofing of Mallow Castle House (Protected Structure)

Tender description

The aim of this project is to engage a suitably qualified contractor to undertake the restoration of Mallow Castle House Roof. The Roof of Mallow Castle House is comprised of eight distinctive roofs (six pitched, two flat), four of these having multiple dormers (fifteen dormers in total), as well as three lean-to bathroom annex roofs. The restoration and repairs to roof of Mallow Castle House will improve the fabric and the structural condition of the building and prevent further decay. The aims of the project are to: • Re-roof the building structure to prevent further ingress of water • Replace/re-new the lead valleys • Replace/repair timbers where necessary • Replace/ repair all the rainwater goods Upon completion of the reroofing and associated works, water ingression via the roof is to be eliminated.
