Expression of interest for Developed Design, Construction and Delivery of Residential Units at 4 sites in County Westmeath

Tender description

Westmeath County Council wish to appoint a contractor to design build four no residential properties on sites in Co. Westmeath. The proposed vacant sites have full planning permission for 62 units which also includes for delivery of infrastructure and associated civil and utility services. The sites have good access, having ready access to the N4/6. The planning permission as granted includes for the following accommodation. 17 No apartments, and 45 No. single storey houses. The overall project will include:- • Infrastructure Delivery and Site Development Works Development of 62 No. units. It is intended that the successfully appointed Contractor shall take full ownership of the project from inception to completion to include design development, infrastructure and unit delivery to completion to include the obtaining of compliance/sign-off. The successful Contractor will be required to enter into a development agreement with the Council. The procurement process will be set out as a two stage process: Stage 1 sets out the minimum suitability assessment requirements to shortlist suitable Applicants to proceed to Stage 2. A maximum of 6 No. Applicants will be shortlisted for Stage 2. It is envisaged that the contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tenderer following the Stage 2 process. See Tender documentation attached herewith for further details Lot 259127: 8 units Castlepollard The design and construction of 8 no. dwelling units consisting of one-storey, two bedroom houses, and all associated site works to include new vehicular road access from the Glebelands estate , roads, footpaths, site services, boundary walls, cut and fill of ground, public lighting, attenuation, landscaping & alterations to existing road arrangements as requiredAttached as document Lot 259130: Robinstown road The Design & construction of 17 no. dwelling units consisting of one two-storey block containing 11 units, one two-storey block containing 2 units, a third two-storey block containing 4 units and all associated site works to include new vehicular road access from the Robinstown Link Road, roads, footpaths, site services, boundary walls, cut and fill of ground, public lighting, attenuation, landscaping & alterations to existing road arrangements in Dalton Park Estate.Attached as document Lot 259132: Ennell Court The design and construction of 15 no. Single Storey houses on four separate sites and all associated site development works to include new vehicular road access between Hawthorn Crescent and Trinity Cottages, roads, footpaths, site services, boundary walls, cut and fill of ground, public lighting, attenuation and landscaping. Dwelling Units consisting of single storey semi-detached houses, single storey detached houses, and a main block consisting of 8 no apartments, to include new vehicular road access from Ashfield housing estate, roads, footpaths, site services, boundary walls, cut and fill of ground, public lighting, attenuation, landscaping and all associated site works.Attached as document Lot 259134: 62 units on 4 sites The design and construction of 62 no. Dwelling Units consisting of single storey detached and semi-detached houses, and apartments, on 4 sites to include roads, footpaths, site services, boundary walls, cut and fill of ground, public lighting, attenuation, landscaping and all associated site works.
