Powys County Council approached the market to appoint of a Principal Contractor for Communal Refurbishment & Fire Safety Improvements at Buckley House & Powell's Place, Welshpool.The works the successful contractor will deliver include internal and external improvements to the communal areas, complete replacement of internal wooden staircases with prefabricated steel alternative, that also provides 1 hour fire compartmentation to electrical risers. Provision of new communal front entrance doors and video entry system, external decked seating areas, landscaping of grounds and pathways. Full redecoration of internal areas.
