<p>This tender relates to Herefordshire Council&rsquo;s requirement to identify a supplier(s) to provide the goods and services detailed in the specification, this includes: &bull; Lot 1 &ndash; Canteen tables and chairs, meeting booths, chairs and coffee tables &bull; Lot 2 &ndash; Meeting room tables and chairs &bull; Lot 3 &ndash; Desk chairs The tender is structured so a supplier may submit bids for one, two or all three lots. Each lot will be considered and award individually, which may result in up to three suppliers working with Herefordshire Council to deliver the full requirements within this tender. The objective of this process we will be to create a more agile and flexible working, making the use of spaces for work (rather than storage), and meet the needs of a changing workforce. Like many local authorities this is route to cost saving on premises, but also creating positive and engaging workspaces for employees. As part of this consideration we will be looking for office furniture that addresses: &bull; &ldquo;Informal&rdquo; gather and meetings spaces &bull; Stock that take into consideration the diverse needs of the workforce &bull; Collaboration spaces &bull; More people in one location The resulting contract(s) will be accessible for use by two organisations (Herefordshire Council and Hoople Ltd), and will be in place for up to 1 year, with an option to extend by 1 year, to facilitate the provision of additional or replacement products (where these are not covered by warranty). A key objective of the contract is to meet the initial delivery milestone of May 2021 for the initial order quantities.
