Lot 1: For the supply and installation of an Adventure Bouncing Net Course for Tennant Consulting Ltd T/A IOAC.ie at the IOAC premises, Sixacre, Tagoat, Co Wexford, Y35 RH76 The Bouncing Net Course is a net course that will offer a safe enclosed low level climbing challenge for all ages. The ideal participant will be aged between 3-8 years old. The structure must be: • Built to European standards based on a steel construction on one level. • Subdivided so that children can transition into 4 areas • Lockable when not in use. • Compliant with EN15567-01 and the relevant Eurocodes • Compliant with the strict European conditions and standards of the trade associations ERCA and IAPA Lot 2: For the supply and installation of a Zip Line for Tennant Consulting Ltd T/A IOAC.ie at the IOAC premises, Sixacre, Tagoat, Co Wexford, Y35 RH76. The zip line course will be an addition to the Eastern side of the existing Octagon High Ropes course in situ on the IOAC campus, see photo at end of document. This addition will enhance the experience of the visitor and give a greater offering at the International Outdoor Adventure Centre. • The successful tender must provide an assessment of the infrastructure, geological and soil survey as well as the technical design and structural calculation and design of the zip line structure. • The structure itself should involve two new poles, one with a landing net system and the second directly to a platform. Whereas the existing structure is of a timber construction, Tenders are requested to quote for either wooden or steel poles or both in their response document for consideration. • Please note that IOAC use the Edelrid Smart Belay system, as the Zip Line will form an extension to an existing activity, all specifications must be compatible with the Edelrid Smart Belay system. • The Zip Line must reach the relevant standards for annual inspection and certification by an independent body.
