Design of Happy Valley Coastal Defence, Llandudno

Tender description

Conwy County Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the Client) require a detailed design to be carried out for Happy Valley ID48 coastal defence structure. The embankment also retains the highway known as Happy Valley. The service includes, but is not limited to: • Providing consultancy resource to deliver the project from pre-design to a fully developed construction works tender • Specifying all required environmental and site information surveys, and producing the related reports • Assisting the Client with gaining all required approvals • Providing pre-tender cost estimates for the construction works These tender documents are intended to be used by Consultants to submit their tender prices and proposals for the completion of the detailed design within challenging timescales, driven by the current flood risk and funding constraints.
