Tender description
The Council are seeking suitably qualified and experienced contractors to tender for carrying out re-roofing at Tawelfan Flats, Cwmgiedd, Ystradgynlais, SA9 1NA There are bats present in two of the three blocks, so all works fall under the Bat Development Licence (see Appendix D under the Attachments Area of the Portal) and will need to be completed by no later than 15th December 2021. There are flats in the blocks that are owned by leaseholders. The Council is required to consult with leaseholders on the works under the Landlord and Tenants Act, 1985, and the leaseholders have a right to scrutinise costs. Due to this it is a minimum requirement of this tender for all tenderers to consent to the Council providing relevant commercial information from their bid to leaseholders. The scope of what is to be shared with leaseholders is included under paragraph 4 of the Instructions to Tenderers document.
