Brief Description of Requirement UKRI Natural Environment Research Council is an independent, non-departmental public of Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). NERC's Head Office is in Polaris House in Swindon and is out of scope of this contract. NERC have two main components: • The British Antarctic Survey based in Cambridgeshire • The British Geological Survey based in Nottinghamshire The British Geological Survey (BGS) has a requirement for; Meat, Fruit, Vegetables, Dairy, Dry, Frozen, Chilled food products and disposables supplies for the in-house catering service at its Headquarters in Keyworth, Nottingham, NG12 5GG. BGS as a public sector organisation is mandated to approach the market to seek the best possible value for money for the public purse. The new contract will be let for a period of 2 years with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
