Replacement of two mooring piles and mooring floats at the Old Shell Pens, Anglesey Marine Terminal,

Tender description

To oversee the replacement of two tube mooring piles, two Mooring Float Cans, plus top and bottom securing systems, which are inset into the harbour wall in position 5 and 6 as shown on the photographs Annexed in Additional Documents. In addition at least two sacrificial anodes will need to be fixed at the base of each pile. In addition to the complete replacement of mooring piles 5 and 6, the top brackets of the remaining 7 piles also need replacement and the re-securing of the cover chequer plates. Any prospective contractors are advised to visit the Marine Terminal, Amlwch Port, Anglesey LL68 9DB, and view the top bracket arrangements and the retained Floating Mooring Buoy to enable accurate measuring and view the design characteristics of each. Photographs of the top brackets and Mooring Float Can are included in the Additional Documents File.
