North Ayrshire Council require construction of a 16 unit Supported Living complex with staff base for residents who have additional support needs. The units will comprise of one and two-bedroom homes. The contract duration will be 42 weeks construction period and expected contract start date is February 2021. The complex will comprise of the following: 1Nr - Block 1 Staff Base GFA - 102.83m2 1Nr - Block 2 (6 House Block) GFA - 296.88m2 1Nr - Block 3 (2 House Block) - 123.03m2 1Nr - Block 4 (7 House Block and Plant room) GFA - 394.34m2 The work includes strip foundations, timber frame construction, with brick/block outer skin, tiled roof includes low pressure hot water and heating with communal heating plant, electrical installation, fire alarms, etc. Ancillary work includes external services, drainage, roads, fences, car park and landscaping work; and The site will be built on the demolished site of the previous vacant former sheltered housing complex. The contract is required to start on site by February 2021. Contract duration will be 42 weeks after the date of possession, inclusive of all holidays.
