Tender description

This project is concerned with boiler replacement works at Muirhevna Building, Dundalk Institute of Technology, Dublin Road, Dundalk, Co. Louth. Works will be carried out in holiday periods. This project incorporates the removal of existing boilers, modifications to the existing LPHW header arrangement, installation of new gas-fire boilers and installation of BMS controls to accommodate the new boiler arrangement. Works Removals (50)  Disconnection and removal of existing boilers and header conecctions. Heating Centre (51)  Modification of existing LPHW header system.  Installation of header extension and associated & valves in existing boilerhouse  Installation of new gas-fired boilers c/w gas connections and condensate connections as required  Modifications to existing flue arrangement to accommodate new boilers. Building Management System (58)  Upgrade of existing boiler controls to provide BMS control to new boilers. Builder's Works (70)  Extension of existing plinth.
