Tender description
Conwy County Borough Council wish to appoint a contractor for the contract involving the construction of some 142m of 4m high Environmental Barrier in the westbound verge and embankment west of the A55 (T) North Wales Trunk Road Conwy. The structure is required by the Planning Authority to reduce the noise from the A55 to the nearby Gypsy and Travellers site. The barrier will replace an existing 3m high environmental barrier that does not currently conform to noise level requirements detailed in TAN 1(Wales).
