Tender description

Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council (The Council) is seeking a supplier to supply and deliver fresh fruit and vegetables, Monday to Saturday (with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) to Council establishments within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The Council currently spends approximately £35,000 per annum on the supply and delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables. The Council does not guarantee the supply of any of its sites and there is no exclusivity on this contract for the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole Council (The Council) is seeking a supplier to supply and deliver fresh fruit and vegetables, Monday to Saturday (with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day) to Council establishments within Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole. The Council currently spends approximately £35,000 per annum on the supply and delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables. The Council does not guarantee the supply of any of its sites and there is no exclusivity on this contract for the supply of fresh fruit and vegetables. The contract will be for 2 years with the option to extend annually for a further 3 years (2 + 1 + 1 + 1). Therefore, if all extensions were taken the full length of the contract would be for 5 years. The anticipated start date of the contract is January/February 2021.
