Tender description

Ealing Council wishes to procure three contractors for external refurbishment contracts allocated to geographic regions across our building stock borough-wide. Contract delivery will be to all housing stock owned and managed by the Council including but not exclusive to flats and maisonettes within high, medium and low rise residential developments, hostels and sheltered housing schemes. Ealing Council wishes to procure and provide planned external works in Council Housing. Works comprise of the following elements — refurbishment of existing fencing, paths, boundary walls, roof replacements, window replacements and works to facades, communal decorations externally and internally, minor structural works and external fire safety works. The Council wishes to enter into separate contracts for three geographical lots based on the JCT Measured Term Contract. The contracts are to be for a term of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 5 years. Guarantee cannot be given by Ealing Council with regard to the volume, trade requirement, value, duration, category nor continuity of the works. If you are tendering for multiple lots you will be required to indicate in your tender submission which geographical area is your preferred lot as only one lot will be awarded per contractor.
