Tender description

The Council is seeking to improve the provision of social housing across the borough and have identified a number of sites on which a large number of dwellings and associated buildings and related infrastructure may be placed. These sites are at various stages of planning permission and the Council does not warrant that all sites will be built, although other sites may be added. This procurement exercise is primarily to establish a framework agreement with five parties for the construction of these sites. This framework agreement is being procured to establish a panel of construction companies primarily for the construction of general needs accommodation within Slough but may also be used for any other construction projects valued at GBP 10 000 000 project value and over and related sites. A related site may be of smaller value but may be in the interest of the Council to appoint a single contractor across both sites or a contractor of similar capabilities.
