Furniture, Fixtures and equipment for Greater Belfast Development. Ulster University will shortly be undertaking a procurement exercise associated with the Greater Belfast Development Project on the University's Belfast campus. The University wishes to procure a contract for the provision of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) to complete the fit-out of the newly constructed Blocks BC and BD; and a small number of items installed within an occupied Block BB. The FF&E requirements will include seats, chairs, tables, desks, cupboards, bookcases, office furniture, educational equipment, laboratory furniture, bins, desk equipment and desk sets. The FF&E will include seating for internal learning in student hub areas, workstations, office seating and storage, break out furniture, reception furniture, restaurant furniture, specialist chairs, lockers and storage for academic and departmental offices. The indicative timetable for the main stages of the procurement process is anticipated to be as follows: • Pre-qualification Questionnaire (PQQ)/Invitation to Tender (ITT) Period: 24 August 2020 – March 2021 • contract award: April 2021 • contractor start on-site: May 2021.
