Tender description

Framework agreement for the supply, delivery, installation of office, educational and library furniture. This tender is for the supply, delivery and installation of office furniture including but not limited to; desks, chairs, pedestals, tambour units, meeting room furniture and library furniture to Staffordshire County Council and other contracting authorities via call-off contracts under a framework agreement. The customer base comprises of approximately 1 800 ordering and delivery points. The contract will operate as a framework agreement and the County Council makes no guarantee as to the volume of business on offer. Any volumes given are indicative only, intended as a general guide based on requirements. Due to ongoing County Council structure reviews any data is approximate as a future forecast. Other public sector organisations may utilise this framework agreement for their own requirements. Staffordshire County Council may allow the agreement to be used by or on behalf of other UK public sector non-profit bodies. These will include Central Government Departments and their Agencies, NHS bodies, local authorities, police and emergency services, and metropolitan/district councils educational establishments, utilities, registered charities, universities/colleges, police, fire and a large number of charitable organisations. For this framework the Council is allowing the following bodies to utilise the agreement – Stafford Borough Council, Cannock Chase District Council and South Staffordshire Council, however other organisations may also use it during the term of the framework. This tender is for the supply, delivery and installation of furniture apparatus and equipment to Staffordshire County Council, Schools and Academies via call-off contracts under a framework agreement. The framework agreement is for the supply, delivery and Installation of educational furniture, apparatus and equipment to educational establishments which includes but is not limited to; desks, chairs, pedestals, tambour units, meeting room furniture and first aid equipment on an ad-hoc basis as and when required by the County Council, Schools and Academies in Staffordshire. The educational lot should also cater for school apparatus such as but not limited to bunsen burners, sports equipment (netballs, rugby balls), dining room furniture, library furniture and playground equipment. This tender is for the supply, delivery and installation of library furniture to Staffordshire County Council, Schools and Academies, via call-off contracts under a framework agreement. The lot includes for: • management of specific library re-fit, or a programme of library re-fits • design of new internal library layout with an innovative design solution • supply of goods, i.e. furniture and fittings, etc. • installation of goods, i.e. furniture and fittings, etc. • advise on signage and graphics for refitted library • after sales support • training on the use of supplied goods, where necessary.
