Auditorium seating system comprising five retractable units each with 122 fold down chairs and a further 620 configurable flat floor seats totalling circa 1 230 seats in total. This list is non-exhaustive, is provided for guidance only and we reserve the right to modify this. Further information about the requirements are in the tender documents. The invitation to tender (ITT) can be downloaded by registering and expressing your interest on the University's eTendering system https://in-tendhost.co.uk/Sheffield If you have any questions or comments in relation to this tender they must be submitted via the InTend System. Completed tenders must be returned through the same eTendering system. Scope — in consultation with the client: — to provide a detail specification for a designed seating solution to replace existing seating system to meet the requirements of BS EN 13200-1:2019; — provide options to maximise numbers of seats (where applicable) to the formats currently in use and the limitations of the existing building; — to dismantle the five existing retractable units and remove from site; — to remove all existing floor seats from site; — to install five new retractable seating units and associated accessories to the agreed specification, test and commission; — to supply to site all floor seating and associated accessories; — provide training and demonstration to client to include operation of retractable units, laying out of floor seating, fault finding and basic maintenance; — provide all certification, O&M manuals, H&S file.
