Supply of Fresh Fruit, Vegetables and Morning Goods

Tender description

The City of York Council (the “Council”) is seeking a supplier of high quality fruit, vegetables, bread and morning goods (the “Products”) for two (2) Council operated sites: Haxby Hall Care Home and The Glen Short Breaks Centre. The Supplier must be able to provide a variety of Products to suit different tastes, avoid menu fatigue and respond to changes in food trends. Each site will require a delivery three (3) times per week and the Supplier must have the ability to correctly store and transport all Products in safe, secure, clearly labelled packaging. The Supplier must have appropriate procedures in place to ensure the identification and traceability of all ingredients, Products and services at any stage of processing and production.
