Tender description

Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (the “Contracting Authority”) invites tenders (“Tenders”) to this Request for Tenders (“RFT”) from economic operators (“Tenderers”) for the supply of the Goods as described in Appendix 1 to this RFT (“the Goods”). In summary, the Goods comprise: Loose Furniture for Mungret Community College (Temporary Accommodation) Mungret, Co. Limerick which is currently under construction Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board have been awarded Patronage of the New Community College, Limerick City and Environs (South-West). The new Community College will open to receive First Year Students in August 2017 This public procurement competition (the “Competition”) will be divided into eight (8) lots (each a “lot”) as described below. Each Lot will result in a separate contract. Please note that Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board reserves the right to break down the lots. The contracts were awarded as follows: Lot 1: Student Tables, Chairs, Stools & Computer Chairs (G Morgan & Son) Lot 2: Staffroom Furniture, Teacher Desks and Chairs (G Morgan & Son) Lot 3: Whiteboards and Pin Boards (including installation) (G Morgan & Son) Lot 4: Customised Desks, Benches, Presses (G Morgan & Son) Lot 5: Science Tray Storage System (Lennox) Lot 6: Steel Student/Teacher Lockers, Filing Cabinets & Safe (M2 Office) Lot 7: Miscellaneous (M2 Office) Lot 8: Office Furniture (G Morgan & Son)
