Tender description
The Contract of our new build 2FE, 420 place primary school known as Charlton Wood Primary located on the old Filton Airfield at Charlton Hayes, Patchway, South Gloucestershire. Delivery of the new primary school forms part of the Council’s 2017–2010 Capital Programme that was approved by Elected Members in February 2017 and will be funded from S106 contributions received from the developer, Bovis Homes. This new school project was commissioned in 2016/17 to provide a new 2FE 420 place primary school to serve the development at Charlton Hayes in Patchway. Funding and land for the school has been secured through the Section 106 contribution. The Endeavour Academy Trust is the Council’s preferred project sponsor and was approved by the dfE in November 2016. The Trust is responsible to commission the works and deliver the school on time and has requested Property Services of South Gloucestershire Council to support them to deliver this new school.
