Balcony Refurbishment

Tender description

Rykneld Homes Ltd (RHL) working with, and on behalf of, North East Derbyshire District Council (NEDDC), is seeking to appoint a contractor to undertake balcony refurbishment and associated improvements to 6 No. blocks of flats, throughout the District of North East Derbyshire. The successful contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the allocated works, including surveying, designing, and the associated installation/repairs. The successful contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the allocated repairs/works. RHL will be seeking to appoint the successful contractor to the role of Principal Contractor (under CDM Regulations 2015) for the duration of the works. Whereby there is a requirement for design the contractor will also act as the Principal Designer, in such instances this will be specified in the letter of appointment.
