Tender description

A national framework, reserved for supported businesses, for the supply of the undernoted goods and services. The Scottish ministers are reserving the right to participate in the procurement for the award of this framework to a supported business, as defined in Article 20 of Directive 2014/24/EU. The framework will be available for use by the Scottish public sector and will have a duration of 2 years with an option of 2 one year extensions thereafter. A new national framework, reserved for supported businesses, for the supply and/or repair of furniture to the Scottish public sector. Types of furniture to be included will include (but not limited to): — bedroom furniture, — office furniture, — educational/laboratory furniture, — conference furniture, — cafe/restaurant furniture, — kitchen units, — furnished and student accommodation, — beds and mattresses. A new national framework, reserved for supported businesses, for the supply of document management services to the Scottish public sector. Potential services may include (but not limited to): — document scanning, including preparation, scanning, indexing, encryption, electronic storage and secure disposal of documents, — secure document storage and retrieval, including the preparation, collection, indexing, storage, retrieval, delivery, secure disposal of documents, — document management solutions, — all of the above document handling where enhanced handling and security are required. A new national framework, reserved for supported businesses, for the supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniforms/workwear. Potential items to be supplied may include (but not limited to): — personal protection equipment, — specialist workwear and uniforms. A new national framework, reserved for supported businesses, for the supply of signage to the Scottish public sector. Potential items to be supplied may include (but not limited to): — signs (fascia, illuminated, pavement, freestanding, road traffic, safety), — displays, — flat cut and fabricated letters, — street name plates, — engraving, — graphics (window, building), — vehicle livery, — screen printing, — nameplates.
