Replacement of existing grit track with new synthetic athletics track at Esker Park, Lucan Co. Dublin

Tender description

Minor modifications and local replacement of damaged sections of existing perimeter fence Removal and reinstatement of existing kerbing to form 400m IAAF Standard track incorporating two 100m straights, Kerbs to be re-laid to meet IAAF falls and designs as per DRG 6012 Removal and reinstatement of Existing drainage channel to track to meet IAAF designs as per DRG 6012. Remove and replace drainage channel sumps currently installed incorrectly on site with approved sump to match existing. Install duct chambers as outlined on the tender drawings Install water main supply to existing steeplechase water jump Regulate existing stone surface and install new stone and blinding layer to meet IAAF falls and design. Install macadam base. Install IAAF approved sandwich type synthetic track surface complete with line marking. Full IAAF testing and measurement survey of new athletics track Provide new paving slabs as outlined within tender drawings. The contractor should be aware that the site of the works is located in a live sports facility and that access to the site is via an existing entrance which will be used by the general public.
