Tender description

Newcastle City Council has a requirement for the Supply of Alcohol and Soft Drinks. The contract is for 24 months with 2 x 12 month options to extend. The procurement is broken down in to 2 lots: Lot 1: Beers, Spirits and Soft Drinks (including line cleaner); Lot 2: Supply of Wine. The Council reserves the right to award either or both lots depending on submissions. Tenderers can bid for either or both lots. This contract will operate as a Framework Agreement on a ranked basis with 2 operators awarded to each lot. Rank 1 will be the default supplier. Rank 2 will be utilised only if Rank 1: 1) does not / cannot meet their contractual obligations; 2) is unable to meet the requirement.
