Tender description

This Agreement is divided into the following lots: Lot 1 – Bedding Lot 2 – Mattresses Lot 3 – Textiles and Cloths Lot 4 – Furniture Covers Applicants may tender for 1, 2, or all of the lots detailed above. The contract will have an initial term of 12 months, followed by 3 incremental extensions of 12 months for up to a total period of 48 months. Value Range – 11 500 000 GBP to 28 500 000 GBP for all 4 lots. It is anticipated that in the first 12 months of the agreement the value of purchases will be in the region of 3 490 000 GBP. For the full 48 months term (if prices agreed) the anticipated value will be circa 14 400 000 GBP. These values are approximate only and are based on the most recent historical usage information, with a forecasted level of growth. The volumes and values provided are for guidance only and are not a guarantee of business. This lot contains approximately 60 items, including bedding such as sheets, duvets, duvet covers, pillows, mattress protectors, also includes table linen and towels. This lot contains approximately 28 items, including sprung mattresses and foam mattress of various sizes. Additionally it contains mattress disposal services. Note: this lot also contains 13 pocket sprung mattresses you are requested to price but will not form part of the evaluation. This lot contains approximately 110 items, including rags, cloths, hook and loop fasteners, textile table napkins, felt sheets, towels and so forth. This lot consists of approximately 12 items made up of various furniture cover slips.
