Tender description

Bernicia Group's Property Maintenance Division wishes to procure Framework Agreements for the supply of construction works relating to various subcontract trades, required for the provision of planned maintenance and improvement services for Bernicia Group's housing stock. Different trades will be identified as separate Lots and successful applicants will form a select list of subcontractors, who will subsequently be invited to partake in a “mini tender” process on a project specific basis. Successful applicants will enter into a Framework Agreement with work packages intended to be awarded on a project by project basis. There will be no guarantee provided under the framework to award any work or workload. Electrical installations including upgrades, renewals, alterations and co-ordination with other trades. Heating and Plumbing installations including upgrades, renewals, alterations and coordination with other trades for boilers, sanitary fittings, H and C supplies, heating installations etc. Painting and decorating forming part or the whole of the works associated with refurbishment, renewal and maintenance of residential properties. Vinyl flooring forming part or the whole of the works associated with refurbishment, renewal and maintenance of residential properties. Ceramic tiling forming part or the whole of the works associated with refurbishment, renewal and maintenance of residential properties. Demolition and joinery forming part or the whole of the works associated with refurbishment, renewal and maintenance of residential properties. Roof covering and roofline forming part or the whole of the works associated with refurbishment, renewal and maintenance of residential properties. A fully inclusive package of works forming part or the whole of the works associated with internal refurbishment, renewal and maintenance of residential properties. This Lot will include all works included within Lots 1 — 6: Lot 1: Electrical Installations. Lot 2: Heating and Plumbing Installations. Lot 3: Painting and Decorating. Lot 4: Vinyl Flooring. Lot 5: Ceramic Tiling. Lot 6: Demolition and Joinery. NB: Please note: This lot may not be awarded. The estimated value of this lot will fluctuate depending on the award of individual projects utilising Lots 1 — 6.
