Information relating to a contract for the maintenance and cleaning of Herefordshire Council property assets

Tender description

Herefordshire Council intends to procure a contract for the maintenance and cleaning of its property assets, the tender will go out on Friday 20th April, subject to cabinet approval. This will include planned and reactive services with the option to instruct building refurbishments and minor works up to an individual order value of £250,000. The estimated contract value is up to £12,000,000 depending on the amount of refurbishment and minor works instructed. The contract will be for a duration of 12 months commencing on 1st September 2018. The 12 month duration will enable the Council to complete a strategic review of its property services delivery with the intention of procuring a long-term strategic partner from 1st September 2019. The formal procurement of the strategic partnership is expected to commence in January 2019 subject to the Council's review and approvals processes. Keywords: Building maintenance, Building cleaning
