Coombe Wood School Temporary Accommodation

Tender description

The proposed work requires the design and construction of a two storey modular temporary accommodation school for up to 180 pupils, including car parking, cycle stand and soft / hard standing. The modular temporary school accommodation is required from September 2018 to January 2020 at Coombe Lodge Playing Fields, Melville Avenue, South Croydon, CR2 7HY. The Contractor will be responsible for all works associated with the modular temporary accommodation, including, but not limited to; manufacture and installation of modular unit, structural/foundations works associated, drainage and service connections, external works, and remedial landscaping works. The successful Contractor will be appointed on a D&B basis and responsible for progressing any additional surveys required and design development based on the specification provided in the tender documents. The proposed form of contract is a JCT Intermediate Building Contract with Design (ICD) 2016 with standard ESFA amendments. The final appointment of the Contractor will be on the basis of the criteria to be published in the tender documents. The tender documents will be available on 27th March 2018, with tender returns due by 12:00noon on 10th April 2018.
