GB-Edinburgh: Refurbishment and Upgrade of Noss Head Lighthouse

Tender description

Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work. The proposed works principally involve the de-commissioning and removal of the obsolete sealed beam optic lamp array and electrical operating/monitoring system for replacement with an equivalent updated operating system and LED optic technology. All electrical systems will be replaced and tested to current electricity at work regulations BS 7671. The Lighthouse Tower and Quarterdeck buildings are also to be completely refurbished along with the application of decorative / protective coatings to all external and internal elevations of the structure including the internal quarterdeck room that is currently occupied by the Coastguard.
