Provision of Catering Services at the British High Commission Islamabad

Tender description

The overall objective of this assignment will be to plan and provide a high quality and 'on premises' canteen services at the Cafeteria located in the compound of British High Commission in Islamabad. The services should be cost effective and should efficiently cater to healthy multi-cuisine dietary preferences, maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, both at the place of preparation and at the cafeteria. Catering Service provider will be required to provide meals, snacks and beverages for Authority employees and other residents on compound daily, particularly during office hours on chargeable basis. The Contractor will provide first class catering services of food that is cooked / prepared in a safe and hygienic environment elsewhere and transported to BHC compound in safe and hygienic containers and transport facility (Insulated/refrigerated if transported for more than 30 minutes). Being a largely open plan office, staff will be encouraged to dine in the cafeteria. Although any major cooking is not being asked for, facilities for storage, small quantity refrigeration, food warming and dish washing exist in the cafeteria.
