Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust wishes to tender for Mechanical & Civil Works for combined Fire and Water Main Replacement for St Peters Hospital in Maldon, Essex. The existing fire hydrant installation has failed on a number of occasions due to age, suffered leakage and has reached the end of its life expectancy. Also changes to the use of the site have resulted in the hydrants not meeting with current legislation. The replacement and extension of the existing fir / water main and introduction of additional relocated fire hydrants id detialed in the specification document and accompanying drawing. Available on the ITT. The proposal is for a Combined fire and water main and sterilisation processes detailede and must be completed before the connections to the existing main are made and the remodelled main made live and operational.
