Tender description
The Cardiff and Vale uLHB is seeking to award a contract to provide a patient discharge/transfer transport service for patients in suitable specified vehicles able to accommodate patients of varying degrees of mobility (including ambulant, wheelchair, stretcher and bariatric patients) from hospitals in the Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan to addresses within Wales (predominantly the South East Wales area). Vehicles must be manned by 2 staff 1 of which must be a qualified first aider to a minimum standard of Health and Safety 4 day First Aid at Work course. The contract will initially be for (2) two years with an option to extend at the Health Boards discretion for a further (12) twelve months.
