Tender description

NHS Kernow is seeking to commission a nationally compliant, functionally integrated, Non-Emergency Patient Transport Service (NEPTS) which will provide a single point of access to NHS funded transport for eligible patients in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The new service will simplify and improve the efficiency of NEPTS pathways and ensure equity of service provision in line with legislation and Department of Health and NHS England regulations and guidance. The service is intended to provide patients with access to the most appropriate form of transport which will include NEPTS, high dependency, car services, secure mental health transport and transport to and from the Isles of Scilly. Access to these services will be through a Centralised Booking Office. The services will be flexible, available on short notice and accessed through a Centralised Booking Service.
