Prj 1409 – Reconstruction of Jetty & Slipway of Alexandra Yacht Club Jetty, Southend on Sea

Tender description

Southend Borough Council requires a contractor for reconstruction works at Alexandra Yacht Club Jetty. The works will involve the following: • Removal of the existing jetty and slipway • Construction of a new jetty • Construction of an extension to the west • Construction of new slipway in a new position • Construction of boundary fencing • Construction of Fiberglass boat house • Construction of boundary fencing Comprehensive drawings and a specification will be issued to contractors who express an interest and the works will be carried out under a JCT Minor Works Contract. The tenders will be considered against an evaluation ratio of 80% for price and 20% for quality. Please submit your request to tender no later than 12 noon on 12th February 2016. We anticipate the tenders will be sent out on 12th February 2016 with a return date of 11th March 2016. If you do not receive the tender documents by the anticipated tender date please contact us. The proposed commencement date of this project is 29th March 2016 and we anticipate a 12 week programme of works.
