Framework contract for the Provision of Highways and Transport Services

LOT 1 Bridge Inspections – The Council intends to appoint one Contractor to Lot 1 of the Framework Contract. Short Description – The scope of the services is to cover professional services as required by the London Borough of Ealing. The supplier will need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Bridge Inspections (both General and Principle) processes and procedures that allow LB Ealing to fulfil its statutory obligations. Quantity or Scope – Bridge Inspections, excluding VAT and range of £100,000 (GBP) per annum, per borough. Indication about different date for duration of contract or starting/completion Additional Information about Lots – The intention is to appoint one Contractor for Lot 1. To ensure that we achieve optimum value for money, this service will be called upon when required. LOT 2 Condition Surveys – The Council intends to appoint one Contractor to Lot 2 of the Framework Contract. Short Description – The scope of the service is to cover professional services as required by the London Borough of Ealing under the category Condition Surveys. The supplier will need to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the processes and procedures that allow LB Ealing to fulfil its statutory obligations. Quantity or Scope – Condition Surveys of Carriageway and Footways, excluding VAT and range of £100,000 (GBP) per annum, per borough. Indication about different date for duration of contract or starting/completion Additional Information about Lots – The intention is to appoint one Contractor for Lot 2. To ensure we achieve optimum value for money external services will be called upon when required. LOT 3 Transport and Engineering Services – The Council intends to appoint three Contractors to Lot 3 of the Framework Contract. Short Description – Management of Traffic, Transportation and Highways including Safety Audits, CDM and other Engineering Services as required. Quantity or Scope – Road Safety Audits, Traffic Engineering, Traffic Management and Area Improvement, Traffic Signal Design, Highway Design and related matters, Construction Design Management Services and Urban Design. Excluding VAT and range of £1 million (GBP) per annum, per borough. Indication about different date for duration of contract or starting/completion Additional Information about Lots – The intention is to appoint three Contractors for Lot 3. To ensure we achieve the optimum value for money, external services will be called upon when it is appropriate. LOT 4 Flood Management – The Council intends to appoint one Contractor for Lot 4 of the Framework Contract. Short Description - To provide Flood Management Consultancy Services with respect to the Employers duties as a Lead Local Flood Authority under the Flood and Water Management Act 2010 and general Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) related matters. Quantity or Scope – Flood Management, excluding VAT and range of £100,000 (GBP) per annum, per borough. Induction about different date for duration of contract or starting/completion Additional Information about Lots – The intention is to appoint one Contractor to Lot 4.
